The section of Infernalia was supposed to be a receptacle of all of the things that I completely abhor…the stench of terrible stuff, like money, crimes of greed, or the most horrible forms of human trafficking, and other most degraded forms of human behaviours or emotions and and other terrible “basura“…
Money has to absolutely take centre stage though…if there was a God, and how I would like it for it to be one…then there would be also His mighty adversary, the devil.
Looking at the world around me, I came to the conclusion a long time ago, that neither one exists, but, but, but…if there ever was a devil, I know exactly what his favourite and most powerful weapon would have been throughout the centuries: money!
Money makes people do the most terrible things, it turns beautiful women into the object of the vilest depravities, it makes people lie, steal, defraud, deceive, and often even kill, or torture other human beings. It essentially makes people become lesser humans than they would ever have been without this horrible scourge.
Even at the best of times, and in what is seemingly normal trading behaviour, money has given human race a profound imprint.
It affects and rules almost everything we do on daily basis.
We often don’t value a person for who they really are, but what they own and their accumulated spending power.
If the owner of a property is not a moral person, he or she will make their accolites, the minions who work for them commit not so ethical actions. Simply in the name of money. Money rules, and the fear of disappointing, of losing a “sale” or the sale of a service is almost always a much stronger driver of human action, than what is right. People are instinctively scared of choosing a defiant attitude if they are presented with an immoral choice, for fear of losing out on a potential source of money.
And this applies to everything.
Politicians approving dodgy projects, where you can tell immediately that that the smell of sulfur is all around (and of course, I say that as an implied joke, as we all know that the main sulfur admirer, Mr Devil of course does NOT exist!!!), where there is uneasiness all over the place, where the data is not 100%, where the obvious (but somehow subliminal) foreign investments are just a centimeter deep, and where you can tell immediately that people are blatantly pushing an agenda of foreign money simply to buy an electorate thirsty as hell for some quick cash…(and by the way, there and then there is the Big Mistake: that the quick cash will lead to a quick solution to ALL PROBLEMS!!!)
The majority of lawyers, of insurers, the overwhelming and vast majority of real estate agents, a small portion of doctors (those few who have the empathy of a calving iceberg and got into medicine only to extrapolate the largest amount of cash possible for their services), not to even mention those working in the financial sector, like banking industry workers, or worse, stock market players, hedge funds whores, and the likes, where it is literally ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. For all these types any other consideration, any mention to humanity, ethical inclinations…they all count for nothing!!! Because for these “people” NOTHING is as important as MONEY IS.
And of course, I could go on…

Then the just will stand by the side of all streets in all the cities, and watch in horror, but knowing that this is the inevitable end, the endless stream of people who do not deserve to enjoy Mother Earth, slowly walk towards their end…
